static kits
the final prototypes for the static kits are done. it looks like the final kit will be comprised of four 7"x11" sheets, some black and white, some color...it all depends on what the artist wants. check back as they'll be on sale soon!
the first editions are:
1. scntfc's 'guns and roses'...all white die-cut statics for making your own beautiful nature scene with subliminal imagery.
2. steven's cartoons and witty sayings (see post further down the page for pics of an earlier prototype).
3. kid koala's black and white drawings.
4. jilf's multicolor jilflings

It's not as fun as skateboarding, but more fun than smashing the headlights out of cars with your skateboard.
Some kids think vandalism is fun. When I was growing up in the rural radness of Kent, Washington, there were plenty of kids breaking things, stealing signs, spray painting walls and so on. Skateboarding kept me away from (most of) these activities but lately I've been feeling like I need to partake in deviant activities after dark that don't involve drinking or hurting people.
With no interest in harming public property or risking severe penelties, I have come up with an "idea" that is fairly non-invasive, mostly harmless and really fun. They say laughing is the key to excellent health (uhhh...I may have kinda made that up a little) and if this is true, I think I'm going to avoid the common cold for the next 15 years.
You'll see art from myself as well as a lot of other local artists/friends. Look for more color to come up in the next bombings. Email me with ideas.

Static Bombing 3/12/2007
Monday nights are sometimes boring.....so we decided to do something about having nothing to do. Remember, it's static cling and it's harmless......even the 3 foot long sausage won't hurt anyone.
We ran into Ben Beres so later that night we decided to pay him a visit and leave him some JiLf sausage (yeah, sneak attack! His apartment window):
